His reputation has further been cemented by a prestigious commission from the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig – a reconstruction of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's (1809–1847) unfinished Symphony No. 6 in C major (1842–46), based on the sketches housed at the Bodleian Libraries in Oxford University — a bold and historically sensitive project that bridges scholarship and creativity in equal measure.
